Voids are created when the sub grade, or compacted dirt, that the concrete is laid on begins to weaken and settle, causing structural damage. Without the support from the subgrade, the concrete is put under stress. While initially you may not be able to see it, eventually the concrete will crack, break apart and sink. Voids can occur due to weather, erosion, pressure and shifting soil, to name a few.  This type of damage cannot be fixed by patching or resurfacing; the void must be filled.

At Georgia Insulation, we offer a solution—   void filling through foam injection. Our specially formulated polyurethane foam provides long-term, environmentally safe, and affordable resolution, usually within hours.

The process is quick and efficient. Small, 3/8 inch, holes are drilled through the damaged concrete, then used to strategically inject the foam underneath.  The foam will rapidly expand and harden to not only compact the earth underneath, but also fill the void and lock the concrete in place. After this process is complete, the holes are filled with drying cement, and color matched to the existing slab for an aesthetically pleasing finish.
